Man proposes, God disposes               

   Macbeth’s tragedy all starts from the witches’ foretelling. I just could not help wondering that if the witches had not told him, what would happen? To a large extend, i suppose Macbeth would succeed the crown and become the king successfully or even be greatly respected by his people. Through the whole drama, i have to say how important it is to have the basic idea of “Man proposes, God disposes”. We should spare no effort preparing for our future while accept the final result with ease.

   Actually, the same tragedy happens everywhere in our daily life. That is the so called fortunetelling. I once know a girl who was foretold that she would never go to college before the college entrance examination. Though she was among the top students in my class, she was greatly bothered by it and could not help crying at the thought of it, which tremendously influenced her preparation for the final test. Luckily, she finally realized that if she kept crying to the day of the college entrance examination, of course, she would never enter the college. Anyway, she recovered as usually and got fully prepared for it. Without doubt, she successfully got enrolled in a college. Later, when we chat together, she mentioned the hard period of struggle. She told me that though she can not control the so called destiny in the future, but she can control the destiny at the very moment. All she can do was not do his best at the moment and leave the uncontrolled thing to god. Why should you be bothered by the thing that you can not control. Just control what you can control. That is the first time i get the idea of “Man proposes, God disposes”

  I happen to have such an experience. I like memorizing good articles and sentences. i do it not for some specific purposes but that i do it for fun. However, one day, before the final examination, my oral english teacher claimed that she would like to give extra scores to anyone who can make an impromptu speech on any topics. The opportunities came for i have recit so many articles that i have a lot to say. Finally, i was given a high score and encouraged to make speeches often. Here, i just want to emphasize that all we can do is to make the best preparation and leave the result to God. For every thing you know will find its own place in the future, either near or far away.

    Be fully prepared and leave the rest to God.
