第二篇:working FROM HOME

working FROM HOME? 10 tips for women

a woman’s work is never done” anon

working FROM HOME as a woman certainly has it’s benefits, but it also has a few drawbacks which can easily make your productivity a hit or a miss depending on how you set yourself up and if you adhere to the unspoken rules.

whether you work FROM your HOME office normally or if you find yourself working there for a temporary spell due to a change in location for instance, there are a few simple areas to watch out for to keep yourself on the straight and narrow, and not spend work time on laundry and getting dinner started!

have the choice to dress “grunge” or “great”. looking great will make you feel great and help keep your mind focused on your work ahead.

nise your appointments out of your office at a coffee shop or go for a walking coffee appointment with take-a-way cups and tick some exercise off at the same time.

te a mastermind group with others in your local area that you can meet with monthly to bounce ideas around and brainstorm business issues.

the tv on in another room for low background chatter to keep you company, but never sit and watch it unless you are having lunch.

a plant or flowers to your desk, which you might think sounds dumb, but i think it helps with any feeling of isolation.

r open an email after 7pm or at the weekend. you can’t do much about the content anyway out of business hours so it’s not worth losing sleep over.

cise each morning before you start. you have plenty of time to go for your run, shower, eat breakfast and still be back at your desk for 9am if you are not travelling.

you have the feeling of overwhelm and heaps of domestic chores to do, allot time before you start your day or allow yourself to finish at 4.30pm occasionally. a cluttered and overstretched mind is not a productive one.

’t try and work FROM the kitchen table, find an area or room that you can call your own and pull the door on at night when you have finished.

one last thing, never, ever wear your slippers!

working FROM your HOME office may make you even more productive than being in a busy office downtown with other distractions going on around you. i know i can’t hear myself think never mind write when i use the office in town, and so although it can be quiet in my HOME office, it suits my workload better.

what tips do you have working FROM your HOME office? are you strict with yourself and domestic chores? what are your experiences?

第三篇:國中英語演講稿 taste of HOME

what is the taste of HOME? before i lodge in school dormitory, i never think of this question. but, now i know what the taste of HOME is as i have lived in school for a month. i miss the delicious food cooked by my mother and her endless chatter. my father sits in the middle of the hall watching tv. the fight between my two younger brothers and the ice cream in the refrigerator make me feel warm. all these make a house a family. and it is the taste of HOME in my mind.

ladies and gentlemen(更多請搜索),

good afternoon, honorable a citizen of a country, i have a birth certificate, a household register and a identity card.

i am entitled to certain rights, responsibilities and privileges.

i have freedom of movements in the country, i obey the country’s laws, and i enjoy the convenience of social policies and so on about a citizen of globe? is there anything to characterize the global citizenship? a certificate, a register or certain rights? not really.

global citizenship means a world where people are treated and respected equally for who they are.

it is about helping people that are less is about racting and working together is the core of being and belonging.

we need to realize how important our connections are with others in our friendships, our neighborhoods, our communities, and with our planet.

in another word, global citizenship is about people’s awareness of seeking the common is about my idea too abstract? here i’ve got a vivid i was a child, my father always told me some stories about the past generation.

once he told me a story about a the doctor heard people suffering in spain because of the civil war, he came to help.

he saw many people dying just because they had no he proposed a system that enabled the poor to have medical is the beginning of the idea of socialized medical r the war, the doctor worked hard to improve the treatment of tuberculosis.

in 1938, the second sino-japanese war broke out in fifty-year-old doctor came to help again.

during his years in china, he trained more than 1000 chinese to be medics and was him that designed the world’s first mobile medical unit which saved thousands of the story, what impressed me most was a description of this admirable doctor.

my father could still remember it even after decades.

it was “his utter devotion to others without any thought of self was shown in his great sense of responsibility in his work and his great warm-heartedness towards all comrades and the people” now, you must know the doctor.

you are is norman bethune, a distinguished surgeon.

he was a medical hero who helped unite two countries by showing our common humanity beyond cultural and political kind of spirit is this that makes a foreigner selflessly adopt the cause of the chinese peoples liberation as his own? it is called the spirit of global citizenship-seeking the common a doctor, norman bethune did his best.

第五篇:英語演講稿《global citizenship begins at HOME》

good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, honorable judges. today i feel highly honored to stand here and deliver this speech to you. my topic is “global citizenship begins at HOME”.

global citizenship, FROM my point of view, is a kind of responsibility, a way of behaving, under the tide of globalization.

since china has been a member of wto for 6 years, great changes have taken place around us. it’s no wonder that global citizenship deeply affected contemporary chinese people. as far as the globalization is concerned, we’ll easily find that all the citizens around the world are in the same huge family-----the earth. we care about each other, we learn FROM each other, we work and have fun together. just like the slogan of the 29th olympic games being held in beijing says:” one world, one dream.”

nowadays, we can keep ourselves informed just stay at HOME because of a variety of media. more and more corporations join together to develop advanced products. we begin to notice the significance of cooperation and gradually realized that we are global citizens whether we are young or old, male or female, rich or poor.

however, at the same time, in order to globalize, we expense so much that we are losing something traditional. therefore, i believe it’s of great urgency to think globally and act locally.

it goes without saying that we have to confronted with more problems as a consequence of globalization. we should spare no effort to deal with questions of common concern, such as global warming, pollutions, disasters and terrorist activities for we not only belong to our own nation, but the whole world as well.

as a university student, especially us students FROM college of foreign language, it’s no longer enough for us to pay close attention to our motherland. we are in the competition within a range of the whole world.

action speaks louder than eloquence. everyone can be global citizen if he wants to be. if you use paper bags instead of plastic ones, if you remember to turn off the lights when leaving the room, if you read international news everyday, then you’ve already been a global citizen.

to sum up, global citizenship begins at HOME. only if every one of us takes ourselves for global citizen, can our world be more harmonious. that’s all for my speech.

thank you!
