good morning, good afternoon, good evening.

today, you and all our colleagues around The world are making history.

The new lenovo has become The worlds third largest pc company. and this makes us The 5th largest it company in The world. and The largest it company in china. in fact, The new lenovo ranks among one of The largest 200 companies of any type in The world.

in a very important asia are The pc market leader, both profitable, and with more market share than any oTher company in asia according to idc.

we are The only company who manufactures our own notebooks -- with 95% of our thinkpads built by our own plants -- under The lenovo flag.

im very proud of what youve accomplished. congratulations.

today i want to thank you for The tremendous hard work that has made us -- The new lenovo -- an independent company -- a close partner with our parent ibm, and now completely united with our oTher parent -- lenovo.

and speaking of lenovo and The leaders that created this opportunity -- i want to thank my friend and our new chairman, yuanqing yang. yuanging id like you to share your thoughts on this very special day...

now let’s discuss who we are to become -- our aspirations as a company -- and our 3-phase plan to achieve These aspirations. to become all that we can be.

first: satisfying our customers

lenovo will deliver The highest customer satisfaction to both businesses and individuals.

second: shareholder value

lenovo will be The company people want to invest in by leading our industry in shareholder returns over The next 2, 5, and 10 years.

third: financial targets

lenovo will double our profit within 3 years, and grow revenue faster than our industry.

fourth: market position

lenovo is committed to improve our market position every year by applying long term investments where we can become #1 or #2 in share or profit, depending on The market.

fifth: is my aspirations for each of us, The people who chose to work at lenovo.

we at lenovo will create an inspiring culture of ethics, performance, teamwork and professional development.

some of These might appear to be big aspirations. i want you to know that we’re committed to Them, and that while i expect progress every day, every week, These aspirations will take years to fully achieve.

now to get this done we have a broad 3-phase plan. phase one began on december 8th, and will continue well into The beginning of 2014.

our second phase has also begun. and each project in phase 2 will be at least 12 to 24 months in length.

our third phase will launch when we stand before The world as The it sponsor of The olympics in february of 2014.

so let me speak about phase one:

deliver on The promise of lenovo and on our commitments.

by this i mean we must delight our current customers and retain Their business. we must maintain product leadership, sales momentum and market share. we must ensure effective business operations, and positively introduce The position of new lenovo and of our brands. and very importantly, develop our employees and reward excellence and performance.

so thats phase one.

execute and hug those that are important to us: our customers, our business partners, our suppliers, and our employees.

in phase two we increase our competitiveness through operational excellence, innovation, and branding.

we must continue our focus on operational excellence, speed and efficiency, increase our think brand equity and grow lenovo into a worldwide brand. we must build a global innovation and performance culture and reputation.

during this phase we will initiate targeted investments in new products and in new markets.

and Then we are ready for The third phase: to drive aggressive, profitable growth.

to do this we will invest to lead in selected market segments.

in each of These three phases we will build on These areas of competitive advantage. this starts with:

§ our obsession with understanding our customers,

§ our brands--especially think and lenovo.

§ our innovation in products, services and software,

§ our operational excellence and efficiency.

§ our leading position in china and asia.

§ our partnership with ibm in services, financing and sales.

§ finally, and perhaps most importantly…The dedication and skills of our people.

finally, i want to wrap up by speaking about The values of lenovo. those of us who came from ibm created "new" values only 18 months ago -- as part of a ‘values jam’ that all ibm employees participated in. our lenovo colleagues have been guided for The last several years by four key values. its no coincidence that The values lenovo has worked by are so similar to The values held by pcd.

first: serving customers

we are dedicated to The satisfaction and success of every customer.

second: innovative and entrepreneurial spirit

this means innovation that matters to our customers and our company created and delivered with speed and efficiency.

third: accuracy and truth-seeking

this means we manage our business and make decisions based on carefully understood facts.

and fourth: trustworthiness and integrity

meaning trust and personal responsibility in all relationships.

ive seen first hand what each you expect of yourselves and what you can do. its nothing short of amazing.

we have before us an extraordinary opportunity to make a difference for our customers and to succeed at this exciting new venture.

so thats it... a short list of difficult but achievable aspirations.

a 3-phase plan of how well go from a new company to one that uses its competitiveness to aggressively grow.

and four clear values punctuated with The word integrity that will guide our decisions and our behavior.

The speech about environmental protection

this is environment for The survival of The human, but it always be destructed by human own. human civilization has been stranded in The conquer and plunder to nature , but never thought protection and return to The feeding of human earth. we made a brilliant civilization, at The same time The natural predatory makes The earth we live scared. population growth and production activities increasing also impact The environment and bring pressure to The environment.

The mankind on The earth, biology and climate, soil, water and oTher environmental conditions exists The complex relation, like The various organs of our body and various functions,which is needed to keep The humans of an organ is bad, people will fall ill and cause pain, in fact, The earth is The lost ecological balance, can produce a variety of adverse consequences. because of The human destruction, now The earth faces many environmental problems, such as global warming, The depletion of The ozone layer, acid rain, toxic waste, wildlife extinction, as well as air, water pollution and so on. if we do not protect The environment quickly , like The movie" 2014" to The scene,we will encounter The flood of himalaya range hill and The whole city ,no,no !we never want it that way.

human earth is facing crisis, loss green is equal to The loss of life. protecting environment is The responsibility for everyone, is The mission entrusted to us of The life. i appeal to every country in The world can put aside prejudice action and implement effective protection measures for our common homeland.

第四篇:speech about belonging

everyone has a unique sense of belonging and identity. our sense of identity is shaped within personal, cultural, historical contexts over a long period of time. that’s why we prefer our own identity over anyone else’s. we reject a forced identity and take risks to find The place where we truly belong. we engage with The world in search for a better understanding of our true identity.

a text which shows ideas about The sense of belonging and identity is “rabbit proof fence” directed by phillip noyce. “rabbit proof fence” starts with a sense of belonging to The land and family. in The beginning of The movie The girls are living happily with Their family. noyce uses aerial shots in colorful scenes of The nature. There is a large expanse of The blue sky behind The characters to symbolize The freedom They have. noyce uses close-up shots showing molly hugging her mum while The mum points at The spirit bird and says “it will always look after you”. noyce portrays The connection of The indigenous people to The land by showing The survival skills of molly and her family when They catch a goanna, “good hunters in this family”. from These scenes we understand The importance of land and family to The aboriginal people and gain an insight into Their culture and identity.

The peace and happiness of The scene is destroyed by The arrival of constable riggs and his hard noisy vehicle. he forcibly removes molly, gracie and daisy showing a piece of paper to justify his action. The moTher screams in agony “These are my children mine”. The scene is filmed form The moTher’s point of view which allows The viewer to feel what Their moTher feels. The car is a tactile barrier between The girls and Their family. The facial expression in The close-up shots and The banging of The girls on The windows of The car emphasizes Their unwillingness to leave jigalong. The removal of The children is so tragic for Their family that we see The grandmoTher hitting her head with a stone in grief.

with These ideas and visual techniques noyce shows The belonging of The girls to Their family and that it is very callous to remove someone from where They belong.

The girls are taken to The moore river settlement where They are not allowed to speak Their language and are introduced in mr. neville words, “to everything that The white culture has to offer”. The presence of non-diagetic eerie sounds contributes to our understanding of The place and girls’ feelings. gracie lacks a strong connection with her family and accepts The life easier than molly. “i’m not coming, i like it here”. similar to leah when she arrived to china, molly does not accept her new place and is frustrated. noyce shows The scene as colorless and grey to convey molly’s alienation. she sees how olive, The girl who had just escaped from The settlement is punished but despite knowing The dangers she decides to escape back to jigalong. just like how ke was aware of The dangers but still attended The protests. from These scenes we can see how one’s attitude towards belonging can change over time and how people take risks to find The place where They truly belong to.

we should acknowledge that we are unique but also very similar. as humans, we all have The right to liver freely and to be heard. we respect freedom and like to live in an environment free of discriminations. by understanding this we can build a better community for everyone to live in.

ladies and gentlemen,

good afternoon. in 2014 cia world factbook announced The sex ratio for The entire world population is 101 males to 100 females ; china, 106 males to 100 females; kuwait, 143males to 100 female; united arab emirates2.19 males to females and it also claimed that These distorted sex ratios mainly resulted from gendercide. so gendercide has become a common problem existed in many countries. as a one of The most potential country in The world with a rapid economic development, china can’t and also shouldn’t ignore or escape The problem of gendercide Therefore, it is necessary for us to know The reasons for gendercide in china.

it is known that “rearing son for help in an old age” is extremely popular among chinese people which is also one of The important reasons for The problem of gender imbalance in china. in 2014 chinese ndrc announced that china will lack about 1.8 trillion rmb. used for providing pension in The next 25 shorting of pension, The majority of chinese old men have to depend on Their sons who have a strong ability to support old parents,compared with females. that’s why chinese people would raTher kill unborn baby girls.

if we say that The attitude of rearing son for help in an old age is a subjective reason, Then objective cause is technologies that identify The sex of fetus, such as ultrasound scanning. There is a example about my grandma and my aunt who both prefer boys. however, at my grandma’s time, There was no ultrasound scanning so that she didn’t know The gender of her babies until They were born. that’s why i have four aunts now. while, my aunt just has one son ,but she aborted three females fetus before having known The sex of fetus by ultrasound scanning.

There is no doubt that The attitude of rearing on for help in an old age and technologies that identify The sex of fetus are The essential reasons for gendercide in china, but The most basis

reason is one-child policy. since chinese government carried out The policy, per couple is allowed one child. as The above what we discussed, preference for sons and available technologies of identifying sex of fetus hold away chinese to kill baby girls, while one-child poli(收藏好 範 文,請便下次訪問)cy forces Them to make destruction of female fetus, because They have no choice in order to bear boy in only chance of generational chance.
