1. I like music that I can dance e music that I can danceto.為含有定語從句的複合句，that I can danceto為定語從句，修飾先行詞music，that為關係代詞，在定語從句中作主語。【拓展】在複合句中，修飾某一名詞或代詞的從句叫做定語從句。被定語從句修飾的詞叫做先行詞。定語從句必須放在先行詞之後。引導定語從句的關聯詞有關係代詞that，who，which等和關係副詞when，where，why等，且定語從句的關聯詞在從句中充當一定的成分，從句中 謂語動詞的時態及單複數要和它所修飾的先行詞保持一致。 This isthe present that he gave me for my birthday. 這是他給我的生日禮物。 Do you know everybodywho came to the party? 你認識來宴會的每一位嗎? What kind of music do you like?what kind of意為“什麼種類”，後面一般接單數名詞或不可數名詞。What kind of music do you like? 你喜歡哪種音樂?【拓展】(1)akind of 意為“一種”，修飾名詞。 Wateris akind of matter. 水是一種物質。(2)differentkinds of 意為“不同種類的”，修飾名詞。 There are differentkinds ofanimals in the zoo. 動物園中有不同種類的動物。(3)allkinds of 意為“各種各樣”，修飾名詞。 All kindsof new cars are on show. 各種各樣的新車正在展覽。(4)kind of 意為“有點，有幾分”，修飾動詞、形容詞及副詞。 Shelooks kind of pale after herillness. 她病後面色有點蒼白。

It’s a pity that only six pieces of music in total were recorded for thefuture world to hear…It’s a pity that… 表示“真遺憾……”，其中that引導的only six piecesofmusic in total were recorded for the future world tohear是主語從句，it是形式主語，真正的主語是其後的that從句。例如： It’s a pity that you missed the beginningof the show. 你錯過了節目的開頭真是太遺憾了。 It’s pity that you didn’t pass the exam.真遺憾你沒有通過考試。

They can be fun, but I’m tooscared to watch …to…意為“太……而不能”。它在結構形式上是肯定的，但意義上卻表示否定含義，所以動詞不定式符號to前不能再加not，只接動詞原形即可，too後接形容詞或副詞原形。例如：The book is too difficult to understand.這本書難於理解。【拓展】(1)含too…to…的句子可以改寫成“so…that…”句型，意為“如此……以至於……”。例如： He is too old todo hard work. = He is so old that he can’t do hardwork.他年紀太大而不能幹重活。(2)含too…to…的句子也可以用“not … enough to dosth.”句型來替換，但注意要用原句中形容詞或副詞的反義詞。例如： He is too old to do hard work. = He is notyoung enough to do hard work. 他年紀大了，不能幹重活。5. …but was one of the most moving…oneof後接形容詞最高級及名詞複數，意為“最……之一”。 Chang jiang river is one of the longest rivers in theworld. 長江是世界上最長的河流之一。【拓展】(1)one of the+複數名詞+定語從句中，定語從句中的謂語動詞跟定語從句所靠近的那個複數名詞保持一致，通常用複數。 This is one of the books thatare required for study at school. 這是學校裏要求學生學習的書籍之一。(2)如果one of the +複數名詞的前面有theonly之類的限定語，後面定語從句的謂語動詞則要用單數形式。 He is the only one of the teachers who knowsFrench in our school. 他是我校教師中唯一懂得法語的人。
