這學期，爸爸把我從湖北帶到深圳，到百仕達國小念書。我很快就喜歡上了這所美麗的學校，可也有不順心的事。雖然我的語文、數學不錯，但是在湖北我的英語學得很少，所以來到這兒以後，我的英語學習就很吃力。
媽媽也很着急，要我上課認真聽講，回家後還每天督促我讀呀背呀。儘管我把老師每天講的新單詞都認認真真地記了下來，可是老師發下來的英語作業中，有很多別的小朋友學過的單詞我卻不認識，既不知道意思，又不知道該怎麼讀。
有一天，我在做英語作業的時候，又遇到一個英語單詞“goggles”。我既不知道它的意思，又不知道怎樣讀。正在我手足無措的時候，我看見爸爸在用電腦查東西。電腦真是神奇，不知道的東西一會兒就查到了。我問爸爸：“爸爸，我不知道的英語單詞，能在電腦查到嗎？”爸爸回答：“能，你自己來找找吧。”爸爸説着，就讓我坐到了電腦前。我發現電腦裏有個軟件叫“金山詞霸”。我打開“金山詞霸”，把“goggles”這個單詞輸進去，然後點擊查詢，一看，我恍然大悟，原來“goggles”是護目鏡的意思啊！單詞後面有個小喇叭，按一下還能發出單詞的讀音來。我高興極了，一邊不停地按，一邊跟着電腦讀。就這樣，在電腦的幫助下，我學會了“goggles”這個英語單詞。從此以後，“金山詞霸”成了我的第二個英語老師，一遇到不認識的英語單詞，我就找它幫忙。慢慢地，我的英語水平提高了，上一次英語考試，我還考了全班的第三名呢！

我今年上六年級了，即將升入中學，面臨小升中的考試，老師對我們的要求也越來越嚴格了，雖然作業不太多，可是，寫完作業剩下的時間就要用來背誦我最討厭的英語課文了。
不知道為什麼，我好像永遠也學不會英語，望着一個個讓人眼花繚亂的英語單詞、句子，我的思維一下就亂了，尤其是老師還要求把課文背下來。讓我不寒而慄。每天我回到家，做完作業，就拿出英語課本，讀上好幾遍，背上好幾遍，可是把書一合上，這討厭的英語好像跟我作對似的，讓我連一句也想不起來，氣得我抓耳撓腮。
雖然我背不下英語課文，可是我對語文卻是倒背如流，我恨不得讓全世界的人都來學中文。
學英語給我帶來了很多煩惱，一到週末，我還要去英語補習班，但是我打心裏就不想去，可是不去行嗎？爸爸媽媽期待的眼神，老師威嚴的目光，我只能硬着頭皮往前衝。我做英語作業，除了抄寫單詞，其它的總出錯，本子上老師那鮮紅的大叉叉，強烈的刺痛我的心。
英語中的句式對我來説真的好難，難於上青天，什麼現在進行時，什麼一般過去時，過去將來時，記得我頭暈。有一次我在背課文，好不容易記住了第一句，又開始記第二句，然後又連起來背，結果發現，兩句都沒記住。
每天早上，我起來乾的第一件事就是讀英語，晚上睡覺前乾的最後一件事還是讀英語，一聽到英語這兩個字，我就頭大。
為了學英語，我放棄了玩遊戲機的時間，為了學英語，我放下了手中的遙控機……我只能用一首詩表達我的心情：本是中國人，為何學英語，既然學不會，何必苦自己！
