I have a good friend. She is a beautiful girl. She has long black hair, two big black eyes and a red mouth. Her voice is better. She is good at singing.
She is a clever girl. She likes reading books, playing computer games and chess. She is also nice. She often helps us. Our classmates like her very much.
I heard on the grapevine that you have been spending a lot of time on computer games in Net bars. Not that there is anything wrong with computer games peruse，but I think everything should be in moderation. Maybe you should study a bit more since after all that is the ultimate duty of a student. Please do not be mad about my suggestions. I am merely concerned about your grades. And I hate to see a good friends academic performance being adversely affected by computer games.

I had a wonderful trip to Guilin with my parents this summer holiday. It is a small city in the northeast of Guangxi. It has more than 2,000 year’s history and the whole city is about 27,800 square kilometers. There are green mountains, clear waters, unique caves and beautiful stones there. The most famous tourist attractions are elephant trunk hill, Li River, reed flute cave and Seven-star Park. Elephant trunk hill is the symbol of the city. It is really a fantastic hill. It looks like a huge elephant drinking water by the Li River!
Ask your parents to bring you to Guilin next time. You can go there by air, by train or by bus and get around on free buses in the city. If you go, I can go with you. I would like to visit it again! I am sure we will have a great time there.

今天是小年夜，我們全家人圍在一起團團圓圓地吃火鍋，爸爸媽媽從超市裏買回來許多火鍋丸子，有“撒尿牛丸”、“貢丸”、“魚豆腐”等等好吃的，燒了滿滿地一鍋，不過我最愛吃的是我昨天自己親手做的蛋餃，全家人都説好吃，我很開心！

or wholly ignorant of their potentials for harm. We have subjected enormous numbers of people to contact with these poisons, without their consent and often without their knowledge. I contend,furthermore, that we have allowed these chemicals to be used with little or no advance investigation of their effect on soil, water, wildlife, and man himself. Future generations are unlikely to forgive our lack of concern for the integrity of the natural world that supports all life.

我不是説人類決不能使用化學殺蟲劑。我要説的是，我們不分青紅皂白地將這些有毒的、具有強大生物功能的化學制品，交給了那些對這些製品的潛在危害基本上或者完全無知的人去使用。我們使眾多的人接觸這些有毒物質，卻沒有徵得他們的同意，並常常將他們蒙在鼓中、我還要説的一點是，我們允許使用這些化學制品，卻事先很少或者根本沒有調查它們對土壤、水、野生生物以及人類自身造成的影響。我們缺乏對萬物賴以生存的自然界生態統一的關心，對此，我們的後代是不可能原諒的。
