1、名片

推薦信(Recommendation Letter):在出國留學申請過程中,學校通常會要求2~4封來自申請者工作主管或者教授的推薦信函。推薦信是申請文書中非常重要的組成部分。因為推薦信是申請材料中唯一的一個從第三者的角度對申請人學習成績、學術科研能力、研究潛質和性格特點的評價。

一、推薦信應該找誰寫呢?

一般有這麼幾個選項:

◢自己的老師可以選對自己比較瞭解,關係好的老師,這樣推薦信的內容會更誠摯深入,也可以選自己學院的院長、教授等有頭銜的人士幫你寫。

◢工作單位的領導最好是跟你目標專業相關的工作哦。不一定是老闆,直屬領導也可以。

◢其他渠道認識的學術界、企業界牛人同樣,也最好是跟你目標專業有關的。

◢西班牙的語言學校老師,或國內認識的外教等好處是他們比較瞭解西班牙推薦信的寫法,西語肯定沒問題,但是一定要找老師或者有一些職務的,不是隨便找個西班牙同學寫就行哈。

二、西班牙留學應該準備幾封推薦信?

不是所有西班牙大學都需要推薦信。一般來説,需要推薦信的主要是名校,以及商科。大家可以在各大學專業的官網看到這個專業申請是否需要推薦信。

有同學問,如果我想申請十幾個專業,難道要準備十幾封推薦信嗎?老師不會給我寫這麼多的吧?其實這裏有一個小竅門,就是你的推薦信裏不一定要帶你申請的具體學校專業的名字,寫得泛一些,這樣就可以通用啦。

一般我們建議大家準備兩封推薦信,如果你認識多個牛人,或者你想申請多個方向(如語言和商科),那可以酌情多準備一兩封。

三、套磁信的內容與寫作技巧

寫作內容:

1、被推薦人的基本情況介紹。側重於個人的畢業時間、學校、所獲學位以及個人的專業經歷。

2、推薦人對被推薦人的基本評價。側重於被推薦人的專業基礎、個性、特點、工作態度和在學術上的前途估計。若是推薦研究生,推薦人還需進一步説明其深造學習的基礎和當前所具備的研究能力。顯然,恰如其分地評價被推薦人的基礎、能力和前途,比言過其實的讚譽更令人情服,更具有實際意義。

3、推薦人可以着重介紹被推薦人曾經獲得的獎勵,發表過的論文,參加過的重要學術會議,以及曾在學生組織或學術團體中的任職等來支持自己的評價。

4、推薦人還必須清楚地表明被推薦人留學的身份是研究生還是訪問學者,專業領域和研究方向是什麼。

如果大學提供了現成的推薦表格,則必須按這類表格認真逐項填寫。推薦表格中一般有學生綜合評估的一項,即要求推薦人説明該生在所教的學生中應列為前5%,10%,或25%等。這種評估是指教授的個人評價,可以稍高一點。另外,推薦表格上常有許多難以填寫的項目,遇到該情形可填”Idon’tknow”,亦不致對該生的評價有何嚴重影響。

寫作技巧:

1、學校方面

一、推薦信的內容

1、推薦人和申請者之間的關係;

推薦人和申請者的關係一般有以下幾種:

1)師生關係(導師和學生,任課老師和學生,班主任和學生,系院領導和學生);

2)上級和下屬關係;

3)同事關係;

4)實習單位領導和實習生的關係。

2、兩人認識時間、經過;

3、申請者的哪些素質給推薦人留下了深刻的印象(推薦人讚賞你哪些品質這是推薦的核心);

4、對申請者寄予什麼樣的希望(寄予的希望一般都會是希望申請者在申請的領域裏繼續深造,最終有所成就)。

二、寫作技巧

1、為了便於校方查閲,必須提到被推薦者的全名。推薦者的身份不重要,當然你要是請院士來寫也不錯,但最關鍵是要説服招生委員會相信推薦人是真正瞭解被推薦人的。

2、必須交待與被推薦者的認識期間(何時開始認識或認識多久),認識程度(偶爾見面或密切接觸)及關係(師生關係,上下級關係,同事等)。

3、對被推薦者的優點介紹及評價,這是推薦信的核心。主要包括被推薦者的天賦,學習成績,研究能力,工作經驗,學習精神,組織能力,品行及個性方面。注意説辭應與其他申請材料如成績單、獲獎證書等相呼應,不要出現矛盾而使人誤會。人無完人,所以同時也應提及其缺點,以做到公正客觀。最好通過實例説明。教授們要的不是完人,而只是學生,一個普通但足夠優秀的學生。

4、必須表明推薦人的態度,是極力推薦還是有保留地推薦。

5、最好要求推薦人在信封封口處簽名,以確保其真實性。最好在“是否保留日後審閲推薦信的權利”一欄填“NO”。

一、內容

RL的第一段要寫清楚推薦人和學生的關係,推薦人是怎麼認識學生的,認識學生的時間多長,在第一段還要描寫學生希望報考哪一個學期以及哪個科系。RL的第二段推薦人需要對學生的資格進行評估,推薦人在剛認識學生的時候對他有哪些特別的印象,還要舉例來説明推薦人的UI學生的評估的結果。RL的第三段要對學生的個人的特質進行評估,比如學生的溝通、抱負、正直等等,或者是有哪些需要學生改進的地方都可以描寫進去。RL的最後一段是結論,推薦人需要對學生的整體來進行評估,需要評估學生在完成學業之後個人的發展,

RL是申請的文書中佔不少比例的材料,很多學生為了能夠增加申請的成功率,會找一些比較有名氣的人來寫,推薦人並不是名氣越高申請的成功率就越高,招生的老師他們首先看的是推薦人對學生的熟悉程度,推薦人對學生很熟悉的話描寫的RL才是有價值的,如果推薦人對學生的不瞭解的話,不能描寫出學生真實的信息的。新加坡的學校通常會要求學生遞交2-3封RL,學生應該要儘量不要請同一類型的人來寫,你需要讓招生的老師對你有一個全面的認識,所以不能只是學生在校的成績或者是工作上的表現。

三、寫作事項

RL中的每一句話不能都是讚美學生的,還需要舉出實例來證明所描述的內容是真實的,推薦人也不能完全保證是否都記得學生的成就和實力,所以在寫作之前要和推薦人進行交談一次,你也可以把你的簡歷給推薦人看看,來提醒他們你所具有的能和獲得的成績並且表明你是想要推薦人在信中提到這些信息的。如果推薦人能夠恰當又正面的描述了學生的不足,能夠顯示出推薦人對學生深刻的瞭解,也能夠增加RL內容的真實性。

篇十三:留學信

一、需要包含的內容

推薦信對於一個學生成功申請留學,有一定的促進作用,因此對於澳洲留學推薦信的內容需要好好把握。

1.被推薦人

對於被推薦人的名字不能只寫英文的女士或者先生,需要將被推薦人的名字全稱準確寫出來,並且至少要提一次以上。

2.時間

這裏的時間主要是指推薦人和被推薦人的認識時間。要寫出是何時認識的,是麼時候教過這位學生(被推薦人)。

3.認識程度

推薦信中需要表明兩人的熟悉程度,用來判斷推薦信的可信度。

4.關係

推薦人和被推薦人的關係需要寫出來,比如是師生關係等。

5.成績

需要在推薦信中寫明學生的優勢和不擅長的地方。

6.成就

需要寫出被推薦人在學校、工作或者家庭中的出色表現,比如獲得過獎學金或者其他優秀成績等。

7.特別才能

重點寫出被推薦人的特長,比如語言能力、運動、舞蹈或者音樂等。

二、其他事項

1.推薦信裏儘量寫出申請人和其他學生之間的相對錶現。

2.寫清楚被推薦人的學習能力和適應能力,並且介紹其專業等。

3.寫明被推薦人的學習排名情況,表明其適合所申請的課程。

4.推薦人需要寫明對學生申請這個專業的看法,是否支持和贊同。

5.如果被推薦人是在校生,需要預測學生在畢業時能取得的GPA。

三、書寫步驟

1.提出請求

如何請老師寫推薦信呢?建議你當面提出這樣可以得到老師最直接答覆。如果沒有機會發郵件也可以。後者好處是自己可以深思熟慮組織好語言,避免與教授面對面緊張和尷尬;壞處是可能許久得不到回覆。如果你老師是個有郵件必及時回覆人那麼你可以採用第二種方式。

郵件標題:Recommendationfor[YourName]

會不會太直白了?不不要不好意思在標題裏“挑明”自己目“開門見山”在此時其實是明智做法。而且這一原則在正文部分要繼續堅持。

正文內容:1.先感謝老師在課堂上付出時間表示自己收穫很大;2.然後寫想申請某某大學研究生項目;3.最後表示希望教授能為自己寫一份推薦信。

實際上這是一個完全錯誤順序!東方人重含蓄西方人喜直接這是東西方思維習慣上迥異。如果你老師是個老外那麼拋棄東方人含蓄思維吧。你在前面絮叨半天而老師卻看得不知所云倒不如直奔主題讓老師明白你郵件是希望她能幫你寫一封推薦信。所以尊重西方人習慣最終成文順序正好相反顛倒成3.2.1。字體可用Arial5號。

2.等待回覆

等待老師給你答覆。如果老師同意寫推薦信那就看接下來步驟。

3.繼續交涉和溝通

後來回覆告訴申請學校對推薦信具體要求。如果和老師見面談那回復老師自己大概什麼時間去辦公室想一想感謝話。

4.感謝推薦人

最後別忘記再次發郵件感謝這不僅僅是一種goodmanners,更重要是在未來學術領域我們很可能還會需要他們幫助。保持聯繫告訴推薦人申請進展;如果最終獲得admission更應和自己推薦人分享這份欣喜。

四、書寫技巧

當然,推薦人的職位、名氣越大,則推薦信的含金量越高。同學們不要認為教授不認識你就不會幫助你,當你拿着推薦信表格進入他們辦公室提出相應要求的時候,一般大多數教授會非常樂意為你編撰推薦信。當然,這位教授要了解你噢。

如果你想拿到非常具有説服力的推薦信,要找相關領域的權威教授,並參與到他的相關科研實習項目。如果在期間表現非常優異,或許可以得到行業內很有信服力的推薦信。

二、推薦信內容

1、被推薦人的基本情況介紹。側重於個人的畢業時間、學校、所獲學位以及個人的專業經歷。

正確使用英文

不論教授們的學識多麼淵博,都要通過為申請者撰寫留學推薦信,以合理的表達方式向考官們展現申請者的才能。也就是説連接着國內教授和國外考官的唯一渠道就是文字。如果留學推薦信寫的一塌糊塗,甚至出現用詞不準確、語法錯誤等低級失誤,給人家的第一印象就是你的英語水平不過硬,也就不會重視這封信了。

全面的、毫無保留的展示申請者的才能

考官們在申請者的推薦信中最想看的是申請者的專業背景程度。包括:對專業知識的掌握程度、是否有相關的工作經歷、在申請專業上有突出成績和建樹。教授們請注意,在具體的敍述中不要直截了當的寫出來,要表達出申請者為什麼要選擇該專業、申請者的工作到底是怎樣的、申請者是怎樣取得的成績等,要注重過程的描寫,這樣才會讓考官覺得真實自然。

全面提升自己的專業背景

教授們在撰寫推薦信時,尤其是在對申請者的專業背景進行介紹時,必然會用到一些專業術語的概念和解釋,如果術語的運用和解釋出現錯誤難免貽笑大方。對方會認為你不專業,也就不會重視你的推薦信了。因此教授在把推薦信教給學生前,要反覆閲讀,查漏補缺;同時繼續強化自身專業背景,尤其是對專業前沿的學習。

四、推薦信寫作注意事項

1.填寫或是使用推薦人的郵箱時,最好是用推薦人所在單位的郵箱。

2.推薦信上要有推薦人的信息,例如姓名,職位,職稱,聯繫方式等,如兩篇範文所示。

3.推薦信最好是保持一頁內。

4.推薦信上得寫明日期。

5.推薦信基本是以電子版的形式(PDF格式)並通過學校的網申系統來遞交給學校。現在還要求郵寄推薦信的學校已經很少了。推薦信應用推薦人所在單位的信紙打印(推薦人是教授或是老師,那就用學校自己的信紙。如果推薦人是公司裏的上司,那就用公司裏的信紙),打印出來後由推薦人簽字,簽完後再掃描成PDF版(或是使用電子簽名,在電子文檔上直接籤,最後的提交格式得是PDF的),然後通過學校的網申系統進行遞交。如果沒有信紙的話,可以在word版的推薦信里加上推薦人所屬單位的專用文檔頁眉頁腳,然後打印出來簽字。

二、儘量不要代筆。如果能拿到教授親手寫的推薦信,當然是最好的,但一般來講,許多同學都是自己來寫,然後找人翻譯,或請教授稍做修改。如果必須要自己來代筆完成,大家就要注意,要重點體現推薦人與你之間的關係,有多瞭解,認識你多長時間,你的表現有多好。可以重現PS中的一些內容,以教授口吻證明PS屬實。內容要非常非常具體,要能從這些具體的小事看出你的能力以及潛力。

一、找名師:

學術界重輩份,既然名師,其輩份自然應該較高,説話的效力自然較高!所以你若被所謂的「名師」教過,能請這些輩分較高的老師寫推薦信,自是一絕佳選擇!

二、找給你該科成績較高的老師:

我想這個道理很簡單,毋須多説,如果你在某位老師手上的分數,每次都約七十幾分,你覺得要評審教授如何相信你如信中所説,你是如何如何的努力用功?所以找給你該科成績較高的老師寫推薦信,是寫推薦信的必要策略。

三、找認識欲甄試系所教授的老師:

如果你的老師有認識欲甄試系所教授的老師的話,請這種老師寫推薦信,效用一定也較高;不要把這視為一走後門的觀念。做一個簡單的假設好了,若a是你目前學校的老師,b是你欲甄試系所教授的老師,兩者相互熟識,相較於其他推薦信,當b看到a的推薦信時,有可能因為相信a而相信你;這就是找a的好處。所以如果再請老師寫推薦信時,不妨先看看這個老師從哪畢業的,或打聽一下(甚至直接可問)他是否認識他校的老師,這對於你推薦信的效力,絕對是有幫助的。

四、找有兼任行政職務的老師:

簡單的説,如果你的老師身兼校長、學務長、院長、系主任等行政職,那麼他的輩分應該較高,較有可能是所謂的名師,也因行政職務之故,與他校教授交流的機會必定更多,所以找這種老師,較有可能取信於評審教授,亦較有可能達到前述第一、第三項之利。一般而言,大學生接觸校長、學務長、院長的機會較少,所以建議你的推薦信中,應至少要有一封是你係主任所寫的推薦信。

五、找有共事成果的老師

若你有「畢業專案」,或幫老師做過國科會之類的計劃,或曾幫助老師寫書…等特殊的共事經驗時,不妨請這類老師幫你寫推薦信,以證明你在研究,甚至其他領域上不同的能力。

無論你找上述哪類老師幫你寫推薦信,切記至少要有兩封是由「助理教授」級以上的老師(即具有博士學位者)所寫的,原因無他,規定如此!所以如果你只准備繳交兩封推薦信,那千萬不可找「講師」(即僅碩士畢業)幫你寫,因為這是「不符合規定的」!

若你有工作經驗,尤其在較具規模的公司工作過者,不妨請你的主管(當然階級越高越好),幫你寫一封,以證明你工作態度之良好(如果是在職生的話,那是一定必備的)。若你認識該相關領域之佼佼者,如:甄試電子、電機所,且你能拿到張忠謀的推薦信,那麼這種機會千萬別放過!不過你最好曾經和他共事過,否則這封推薦信還有什麼內容好寫的呢?

但無論你為何拿的到,亦不管你從哪拿到,建議同學千萬別再推薦信中「説謊話」!評審教授們會依你的「自傳」及「學習計劃」中的內容,檢視你推薦信內容的正確性;就算你能因此進口試榜,也有可能在口試的互動使你「破功」!再者,就算你上榜了,但因送審內容做假被逮,因而取消資格,這豈不「得不償失」?

有些學校的推薦信有制式的格式,需由老師以類似填問卷的方式填寫,所以請各位同學記住,針對這樣的學校(如:交大),當你簡章拿到後的第一件事,就是將推薦信的表格多拷貝幾份,因為通常簡章中最多提供你兩份格式(因為大多要求繳交兩份推薦書),有些學校甚至只有一份推薦信的表格。所以多拷貝幾份,不只是為了讓自己多找幾位老師寫,更重要的,是為了避免老師出錯!萬一你沒有備份且老師填寫的亦不夠完美時,難不成你要去怪老師嗎?不可能!所以記得多留幾份備份準沒錯!

那麼應該寄幾封推薦信呢?學校一般規定是兩封,但建議各位同學可以多寄幾封,但以不超過五封為原則。因為多找幾位教授的好處,一方面是為了做人,免得找了甲卻沒找乙,而形成不必要的尷尬。另一方面也是為了證明你不同方面的能力。換言之,每封推薦信的內容,最好強調不一樣的重點,使得你的推薦信內容得以更多元。但超過五封的話,可能給予教授過於浮濫之感!與前面自傳的原則相同——切記以不砸自己的腳為原則!

如何選擇推薦人?

若申請者仍在讀或剛畢業,則學校教師所寫的推薦函最有幫助。如申請者已非在學學生,則僱主或直屬上司所寫的推薦函也很有幫助。

推薦人必須熟悉學生的學習情況,瞭解學生的學習目的是否明確,在學術上是否有前途,以及學生的適應能力、創造能力、品行和特長。

主要説明推薦人的職位、與申請人是什麼關係、工作學習的深度、交流溝通的頻率等,主要想要傳達出與申請人的深度瞭解,絕不是一面之緣。

high schools in the whole city, the faculties in our school are all renowned and

highly-experienced. Though I’m relatively young in the school, I have lots of

experience in Chinese teaching and student managing. I have been titled the

outstanding young teacher and class-director by school and city.

Yadi Wang came to my class in September 2006, the semester she entered our

school. I know she is talent in music. She used to performance flute in our

school activities, such as in talent show. In 2007, she passed the high level

test of FLUTE LEVEL 8. She loves music that is all her classmates and school

teachers know.

YADI WANG had special leadership and friendship in my class. Once we were

about to take part in our school’s drama festival. We were supposed to play a

Chinese traditional drama –BAIMAONU. I analyzed some key plots and roles of this

drama to my students, and then left all the other works to their own. YADI WANG

was in charge of the directing and casting. It was not an easy job as it may

sound. The enthusiasm made everybody ask for the leading roles, but no one was

willing to take these minor ones. So YADI WANG decided to run an audition.

Combined the performance in the audition and students’ actual characteristics,

YADI WANG assigned everyone the most suitable role. And then, she divided the

crew into several groups. Different groups rehearsed in different places at the

same time. And the leading actors were the strings to connect these groups into

a collectivity. Through this way, it saved lots of time, which was the scarcest

thing to middle school students, to get everybody into his role. And before the

final performance, she just needed to call all the actors together for a preview

for once or twice. She has done even better than I had expected.

Another time was in a seminar, we ran a debate competition about teacher’s

professional ethics. YADI WANG was the leading debater of the con side. During

the debate, she showed her wide knowledge and eloquence. She used lots of

proverbs, history figures and examples to support her stand, and every word of

her was incisive to get to the point, and also full of humors. Her performance

won both her teammates and opponents’ admiration.

Her positivity and versatility also can be found in many other aspects. She

is ours school’s famous piano player who is always invited to play in many

occasions. She knows the traditional skill of calligraphy writing, which she has

been practicing from very small. During weekends or vacations, the “Holiday

Working Team” she leads can always be found doing many community services.

Normally, in order to get more students to participate in class’s management,

the student cadre will change every semester or two, by student vote. But Yadi

Wang has won all the elections by now, so she continued to be the monitor from

the beginning of our class to today, and very likely to the graduation. All her

classmates have approbated her ability, characteristics and performance. She is

already a model in the class.

Miss Zheng’s paper was impeccably researched, and her excellent English had enabled her to make full use of a wide range of English-language sources. Although at first his technical skills needed some improvement, he very quickly mastered the skills he needed to conduct the research thoroughly and meticulously. Now he can manipulate every instrument very well, and he has developed the ability to conduct some research work independently. After this first, very positive experience as a member of my research group I have since asked him to join my group many times. Xu Xin is currently doing research work for me, and I am optimistic about our ability to work together.

In graduate school, he further strengthened his research ability. In 1999, Mr. Yu and a team of researchers took charge of a project on the interference cancellation multi-users receiver. He came up with the original idea of combining the interference cancellation with the pilot-aided coherent demodulation method. This idea was tested successfully for its robustness through calculation and through simulation in COSSAP. Once again, Mr. Yu’s talent and creativity shined through when he participated in a joint project with several other labs to design our own WCDMA system from the ground up. My lab was responsible for building the receiver of base station. In recognition of his ability to research, I assigned him to design and test the receiver of RACH, a crucial subsystem of the project. He demonstrated his high proficiency in his ability to use English literature. Finally, he presented me with yet another excellent product within three months.

One of Mr. Gao Fen most notable features was his strength in mathematics. However complex the problem he had to deal with, he faultlessly applied the correct formulae, and systematically solved the question. This stood him in good stead for studying Finance, and helped him to achieve the outstanding results of A for my courseas well as Accounting, the highest grade from amongst the class of over 60 students, half of which failed. 1、首先你得知道推薦信要寫給誰

可能是個人,委員會或者直接寫”To Whom it May Concern”。同時,確定一下推薦信應該和申請文件一起發還是單獨發到招生辦公室裏。

招生辦感興趣的部分包括

申請人的主動性、貢獻、學業成績和誠信度,榮譽、獲獎還有特別獎項也應該提到。最重要的是,學校想知道你為什麼認為這個申請對學校、對申請人都有利?

一、推薦信注意事項

1、推薦人態度要明確

推薦人是極力推薦還是有保留的推薦呢?當然,推薦人如果是極力而毫無保留的推薦申請者的話,那麼説明申請者是足夠的優秀啊!校方能感受到學生的人氣和實力,maybe會對你另眼相待哦。有些學校的推薦表格中要求推薦人對學生進行綜合評估,即説明該申請人在其所教學生中的評比。由於這個評估是推薦人的個人評價,所以可以相對偏高一些。

2、推薦信貴精也貴多

留學申請時,學校通常會要求2-4封來申請者的學校導師或者教授或者實習單位領導的推薦信。在學校沒有強制限定篇數的情況下,建議你提供足夠的3篇。一般,每封推薦信至少能對申請者的2-3個特質作出推薦,那麼3封推薦信差不多可以推薦申請者的方方面面,從學習潛力到研究能力,從個人性格到綜合素質。

3、推薦信的格式要到位

推薦信的格式與一般書信基本無異,包括信頭、發信日期、收信人姓名、稱呼、正文、信尾謙稱、簽名、推薦人姓名、職稱、工作單位、聯繫方式等部分。推薦信內容中提到的關於申請者的信息注意要與其他申請材料相匹配。

比如説,描述你對特別分配職務上的表現,以表現你的應變能力。又如,申請者是否有其它潛力未發揮如果申請者的成績未盡理想,評述你對申請者的看法。解釋申請者雖然形式上的成績未盡理想,卻有極深厚的潛力尚未發揮。如果申請者轉系,也可以強調申請者有強烈的學習動機,根據推薦者的觀察,相信以申請者的表現,一定可以成功完成學業。

4、重述推薦者對申請人的支持及能力的確認,以再次肯定對申請人的支持與推薦

推薦信的結構形式是比較統一的,尤其是開頭和結尾兩段大概表現的意思基本上是一樣的。

第一段首先應該介紹一下推薦人與申請人的關係,在什麼情況下認識,相識多久;並且應該明確在第一段中表現出推薦人非常願意推薦申請人到這個學校就讀。

第二段就是推薦人對申請人的評估情況,也可以表現一下推薦人為何對申請人印象深刻,然後舉例證實一下推薦人對於申請人的評估結構。如果所表達的東西比較多,這一部分也可以分為兩段來寫。

第三段內容主要是對申請人特質的一些概括,或者是推薦人認為申請人在這個專業以後的發展潛力做一下描述,還可寫一些對學校評審委員的感謝之類的話。

She knows the traditional skill of calligraphy writing, which she has been practicing from very small.
