It was the second day of our winter holiday. I felt good. I felt I’m free. I had a lot of time to do things I like. My parents are in Beijing. So I live alone but I don’t feel lonely. But I didn’t do something special. I stayed at home and watched TV. Oh! I wrote an English daily composition. It was my homework. Today, I have slept for 14 hours. I thought I was very tired. It was time for dinner. I must go! I am very hungry.

It was the third day of our winter holiday. Today, there are many business in my mother’s company. So my mother told me to help my uncle who is the manager of my mother’s company. I sat in my mother’s office and help her answer the telephone. While I was free, I was writing my homework. Although I also have a lot of time to do my homework, I still do it. Because in my mother’s office, I had nothing to do. If I did nothing, I was wasting my time and my life. I can’t do the foolish thing. We should take good use of our time.

It is a special day today. My mother sent one hundred basket of red bayberries. I like to eat red bayberries. It tastes nice. When they arrived in Shanghai, they were still fresh. But most of them would be sent to my mother’s business friends. I chose the best basket of red bayberries to eat. I put the rest in my refrigerator. Red bayberry is my hometown’s special product. It is well-known in china. Many people like to eat it.

Today, I still went to my mother’s office. My mother was very busy, so was my father. They always live in Beijing. They must get up early. Because they will manage the factory. So I know they are very laborious. So I should save my money. Also I should help them. Although I can’t do something useful, but I think I should share the work with them. I am one of my family member. In the future, I will take a job and work. It’ time for me to begin to learn how to work.

I have rested for a week. I began to feel bored. So I went out with my friends. They are my best friends in the middle school. We didn’t go to someplace special. We just saw the other. We had lunch together. While we were having lunch, we were still talking about the new school and new friends. Yes! A year later, we have grown riper. And we learned much more things and got new life. We haven’t enough time to play, to waste and to lose the way. We only have two years. Two years to go, we will get the real life which belongs to us.

I have stayed in Shanghai alone for a week. It’s time for me to go to my real home—it is in Beijing. My parents are waiting for me. Although outside is no matter how beautiful, Beijing is still my home. In fact, there is many fresh things. Like red bayberries. In the afternoon, I took a bus to Beijing. I was very unlucky that my mp3 was stolen. I was very sad. I didn’t know why thieves went to steal other’s things. Why don’t they hunt for a job? I don’t why! I hope there is no thief in our motherland.

When I got home, it was very dark. Why? There is no electric. Every year in Beijing, there is lack of electric to supply. Because there are a lot of factories. And it is very cold in winter. So the government decided: supply electric to resident and the factories must stop working. My house is in the manufacturing district. I was unlucky. It was very cold. So my father use the electric making machine to make electric. Oh! What a unlucky winter!

It was cooler than yesterday. One of my father’s friends invited me to eat red bayberries. You must know it is unusual. Because we will climb the hill to eat red bayberries. There is no chance to eat red bayberries in the hill for the people who don’t live in Beijing. On the hill, you can breathe the fresh air, you can listen birds singing and you can eat red bayberries. It was enjoyable. It is said there are wild pigs in the hill. What a beautiful natural.

Today I found time was a cruel thing. Whatever man is, time always goes on. It won’t stay to wait for somebody. You can’t use anything to exchange time. Time is also a fair thing. Although you have a lot of money or you enjoy high reputation, time won’t leave them more. Today I found I hadn’t enough time. Although I have 50-day holiday, but I found I had a lot of things to do. Assessing a decade of fashion so close in time is complex. The Tibetan Minority group live in Qinghai Gansu Sichuan and Yunnan Province. And the highest ridge in the world─beautiful and mysterious Tibet is their major habitat the fertilized prairie stretches around the habitants as far as the eyes can see most people live on animal husbandry raising sheep goats cattle and growing a special kind of plant called Qingke. On account of the unique climate people often wear warm and comfortable boots in winter and they are always dressed in delicate robes which are made of the fur of sheep. Often they take off one sleeve of the clothes and tie it around their waists in order to work easily and use it as warm quilts at night.

And they will also treat the guest to a special kind of drink called Suyou Tea which some people find hard to des the habitants have developed both their own written and spoken languages and the long poems they wrote play an important role in Chinese literature. And there are many well-protected culture relics as well taking the grand Budala Palace as an example. It is a historical museum as well as an art treasury where people can share their spirit belief in Buddhism and get artistic entertainment of the carved paintings and the beautifully-written chirographies.

Today,I went shopping with my set out at 11:00 by riding use both of us hadn‘t eaten breakfirst.,as soon as we arrived thestreet,we ate a cheese iscream we went to the market,I bought a blue jeans,and my intimate bought a r three hours of hanging around the street,we were very tired andhungry,so we bought a new chicken cutlet,and then went home by were sohungry that we ate the chicken cutlet on the r I backed home,I tried mynew jeans on,my mother said that looks old,let it be,as long as I happy.

I was depressed because I couldnt understand an English book after I bought it. I could understand nothing. I thought maybe I should study English hard and only by this could I learn a lot of knowledge and understand English aw well as communicate with others in English. I told myself:“just go”.

第一天：THE NEWSPAPER 報 紙
Nowadays the newspaper possesses considerable value Everybody should read it. It supplies us with a variety of news every day. It tells us the political situation of the world. If we form the habit of reading the newspaper, we shall (will) get enough knowledge to cope with our circumstances.
現今報紙擁有極大的價值，人人都應該看它。它每天提供我們各種類類的消息。它告訴我們世界政治局勢。如果我們養成看報的習慣，我們就能得到足夠的知識來因應我們的環境。學生雖然每天須做功課，但他們至少應該勻出一兩個小時來看報。哪些，他們不但能增加知識而且也能趕上時代。總而言之，看報對學生很有益處。
第二天：MY DAILY LIFE 我的日常生活
Though my daily life is extremely monotonous, I try hard to adapt myself to it. Why? Because I intend to be a good student. I wish to render service to my country.
I get up at six o’clock every day. After I wash my face and brush my teeth, I begin to review my lessons. I go to school at seven o’clock.
After school is over, I return home. We usually have supper at seven o’ I begin to do my homework. I want to finish it before I go to bed.
雖然我的日常生活十分單調，但我卻竭力設法去適應它。為什麼?因為我打算做一個好學生，希望將來為國家服務。
我每天六點起牀、洗臉刷牙後，就開始複習功課，七點鐘我就去上學。

第三天：A MODEL STUDENT 模範學生
Do you mind being called a bad student? Of course not. So far as I know, everybody intends to be (become) a model student.
However, to be a model student is by no means an easy thing. First, he must do his best to obtain knowledge. A man without sufficient knowledge will not succeed. Secondly, he must remember to improve his health. Only a strong man can do great tasks. Thirdly, he should receive moral education. If his conduct is not good, no one will consider making friends with him.
你價意被稱為壞學生嗎?當然不。就我所知，每個人都打算做模範學生。

In other words, they are our good teachers and wise friends. This is the reason why our parents always encourage us to read more books.
Reading is a good thing, but we must pay great attention to the choice of books. It is true that we can derive benefits from good books. However, bad books will do us more harm than good.
如眾所周知，書籍教我們學習人生，真理，科學以及其它許多有用的東西。它們增加我們的知識，擴大我們的心胸並加強我們的品格。換句話説，它們是我們的良師益友。這是為什麼我們的父母終是鼓勵我們要多讀書的理由。
讀書是一好事，但我們必須多加註意書的選擇。不錯，我們能從好書中獲得益處。然而，壞書卻對我們有害無益。
第六天：A TRIP TO THE COUNTRY 鄉村遊記
One Sunday my mother (Mother) had (made) me take my little young brother to the a trip to the country. She bade me take good care of him.
While we were walking along the road, the sun was shining brightly and the breeze was blowing gently. We saw the beautiful flowers smile (smiling) at us and heard the birds sing (singing) their sweet songs on the trees. The scenery was indeed very pretty (beautiful).
When we felt tired, we returned home. We saw Mother (our mother) wait (waiting) for us at the door.
有一個星期日，我母親叫我帶小弟弟去鄉村遊歷。她吩咐我要好好照料他。
當我們沿着道路行走的時候，太陽燦爛地照耀着，微風輕輕地吹着。我們看見美麗的花兒對我們微笑着，並聽見鳥兒在樹上唱着悦耳的歌曲，風景實十分美麗。
當我們感覺到疲倦的時候，我們就回家了。我們看見母樣正在門口等候我們。
第七天：BE PATRIOTIC 要愛國
It is the duty of every citizen to make the country rich and powerful (To make the country rich and strong is...). In order to accomplish this object one must be patriotic (love his country). I consider this an unchangeable truth.
How can a student love his country (be patriotic)? I find my answer very simple and clear. He must study hard and store up knowledge so as to serve his (the) country in the future. If every student can do according to what I said, the country will certainly be rich and powerful.
要使國家富強是每個公民的責任。為了達到此目的，必須愛國。我認為這是一條不易的定理。
一個學生如何才能愛國呢?我發覺答覆很簡單明瞭。他必須用功讀書並積儲知識以便將來服務國家。如果每個學生能按照我所説的去做，國家一定會富強。
