almost everyone knows the famous chinese saying:a young idler,an old beggar. throughout history,we have seen many cases in which this saying has again and again proved to be true.

growing with english

back in the years when i was only six years old or so, i had my first taste of english. it seemed very strange to me. at the very beginning, i was not so interested in this strange over, the english tv program always took time away from my cartoon shows. as a result, i started to hate english.

time flies. things completely changed at the end of my primary['praim?ri] school life.

in the last exam of the whole primary school period, i did so well in english that i got a full mark. i found that i could do a perfect job in english if i put my heart on it. this exam seems to be a turning point on my road of studying english and has really inspired [in'spai?d] me. although [?:l'e?u] there are still many

challenges ['t∫?lind?] waiting for me, these setbacks won’t hurt my confidence ['k?nfid?ns] and will push me to study harder.

now, my ideal future like this, we have english classes everyday , because l like english very much. the classes are quite small, there are about 15 students in each class. nothing is impossible for willing hearts and i believe, in the future, i can fly as high as i wish to.

附:音節小議

英語的音素分為元音和輔音兩大類,由一個元音或一個元音加一個或幾個輔音結合構成的語音單位叫做音節。例如:

由一個元音構成的音節:i /ai/“我”、oh / u/“哦”、a/ei, /“一個”、ear/i /“耳朵”等;由一個元音加一個輔音構成的音節: bee/bi:/“蜜蜂”、ill /il/“生病”、my/mai/“我的”、see /si:/“看見”等;

由一個元音加幾個輔音構成的音節:bed /bed/“牀”、bag/b g/“袋子”、clock /kl k/等。

英語的詞有一個音節的,也有兩個音節或三個音節以上的。顧名思義,一個音節叫做單音節,兩個音節叫做雙音節,三個或三個以上的音節叫做多音節。例如good /gud/只有一個音節,所以叫做單音節詞;morning/`m :ni /分別有/m :n/和/i /兩個音節,所以叫做雙音節詞;而afternoon /`a:ft `nu:n/有/a:f/、/t /、/nu:n/三個音節,所以,叫做多音節詞。

在英語中,雙音節或多音節的單詞,每一個詞都有一個讀得特別響亮的音節,叫做重讀音節,重讀音節以重讀符號“`”來表示。例如在evening /`i:vni /一詞中,/i:/是重讀音節。一般來説,只有一個音節的單詞往往重讀,但通常不標重讀符號;雙音節詞和多音節詞至少有一個音節重讀,並在重讀的音節左上方標出重讀符號。

音節分為開音節和閉音節。以元音字母a 或 e, i, o, u結尾的音節叫做開音節,如nice, hi, hello, fine等都是以開音節結尾的單詞;以輔音字母結尾的音節叫做閉音節,如meet, bed, what, wall, mom等都是以閉音節結尾的單詞。

1.記單詞的最好辦法是什麼? 把一個單詞造出多個句子,訓練把這多個句子在場景下脱口説出。句子記住了,單詞也當然得到了充分理解和長期記憶。

2.學習英語忌過分講究速度和效率,不願花時間經常重複(複習)已學過的內容。語言運用是一種技能,技能則只有靠熟能生巧,要不斷重複才會熟練,只有熟練了才會形成一種不假思索的技能。

3.語言是有聲的,我們對語言的感受首先是語言的聲音作用於我們的大腦。如果不練習聽力,只是默默地閲讀和背單詞,其結果不僅聽不懂別人講外語,而且閲讀水平也難以提高。

4.語言的實踐性很強,如果只學而不用,就永遠也學不好。我們學語言的目的就是為了應用,要學會在用中學習,這樣才能提高興趣,達到好的學習效果。

第四篇:八年級英語上

我曾經很多次的讀過這本書,每次都會有新的收穫,給我帶來的震撼至今難以忘懷, 它衝擊着我的思想,甚至無形中讓我接受了它對生活的詮釋,讓我感到什麼是人生的感動、生活的無常、人情的冷暖。重拾這本書,本以為我漸漸成長、成熟了,不會在“淚水橫流”,然而我錯了,那些感動仍然實實在在。無論我如何掩飾,如何遮蔽,我都會情不自禁發出對生活的感慨。

平凡的人、平凡的事、平凡的生活,卻隱含着某種不平凡。本書講述了人們在時代變革激流中如何摸索、如何前進。它真切地描繪出文化大革命在農村所反應出的實際情況,農民餓着肚子卻要大搞農田基建會戰,一天起早貪黑,卻掙不了充足的口糧,幾乎每家每户都處於半飢餓狀態。即使這樣很多人還是滿懷熱情地“鬧革命”,以一處而窺全貌,中國這頭雄師還被病魔圍困着,她喘息、掙扎,努力想要昂起她那高傲的頭顱,她已經度過了那奄奄一息的時刻,因為文革已經快要結束了。

在這歷史交替的時刻,各種思想地碰撞、交會,不可避免引起人的變化,尤其是情感的變化。在生產責任制推廣的時候,就明顯感到來自不同方向的阻力,比如省委已經下發文件了,而區、縣、鄉各級領導雖表面應承,卻在背地裏不肯落實,這就是新老思想的碰撞。當中國走向經濟復興的時候,人們卸下了身上沉重的枷鎖,重新看到生活的曙光。在這個能人輩出的時代,人們在致富大路上各行其道,整個中國像沸騰的開水一樣,又在熱熱鬧鬧進行另一場“革命”。但與此同時,帶來的問題也同樣讓人困惱,人們越來越看重金錢,而忽視人們之間的情誼,我們不得不承認這是社會的不成熟,也是歷史遺留的詬病。

十年的時間(1975-1985)演繹了感人至深的生活畫卷,那裏有氣勢磅礴的“鬥爭”,有洶湧澎湃的激情,有對美好生活的嚮往,還有少年不羈的豪氣。那是一個交織着“情”的世界:暖人的親情、可貴的友情、真摯的愛情。

《湯姆*索亞歷險記》讀後感

湯姆在我眼裏是一位淘氣、幽默、任性的小男孩。他有好幾個朋友:喬奇、班恩、吉姆,但最和他“臭氣相同”的是鎮上那個髒兮兮的流浪兒哈克。哈克的父親是個酒鬼,從不管他,他就成了個無依無靠、遊手好閒的“野孩子”。湯姆還有一個女朋友:貝基,她是鎮上大法官撒切爾的女兒。

調皮的湯姆讓我學到了許多,例如:做事要大膽、勇敢地嘗試,不怕困難,一直堅持不懈,做錯事要承認。
