One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the framer tried to figure out what to do. Finally he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway and it just wasn't worth to retrieve the donkey. So, he decided to bury it!
He invited all his neighbours to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly, then slowly he quieted down till nothing more was heard.
A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well, and was astonished at what he saw. With every shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing! He would shake it off and take a step up!
As the farmer's neighbours continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and trotted off!
Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a stepping stone. We can get out of the deepest wells by not stopping, never giving up, shaking it off, and taking a step up!
Remember the five simple rules to be happy:
1、Free your heart from hatred.
2、Free your mind from worries.
3、Trust in God.
4、Give more.
5、Expect less.

We all get confused at times, but prolonged periods of confusion can cause us to feel that we are stuck in a never-ending, foggy web of uncertainty.
人人都有迷失之時，但過久地陷於其中只能讓我們覺得被困在迷茫無盡的不確定中。
To those who are currently caught up in the web of confusion, this may not make sense just yet, but stick with me.

Here is what you can do to overcome your confusion and find the joy:

1、Accept where you are.

Tucked away in our subconscious is an idyllic vision. We see ourselves on a long trip that spans the continent. We are traveling by train. Out the windows, we drink in the passing scene of cars on nearby highways, of children waving at a crossing, of cattle grazing on a distant hillside, of smoke pouring from a power plant, of row upon row of corn and wheat, of flatlands and valleys, of mountains and rolling hillsides, of city skylines and village halls.

Sooner or later, we must realize there is no station, no one place to arrive at once and for all. The true joy of life is the trip. The station is only a dream. It constantly outdistances us.

3天的國中英語優質課評選活動結束了。我有幸被學校派往德州五中聽課學習。感謝學校給我提供了一次不可多得的學習機會。這為我們英語教師的業務素質提高提供了一次不可多得的學習機會，通過參加這次活動。我受益匪淺，讓我近距離地領略到每們教師的教學風格，深厚的教學功底及精湛的教學技能，這些優質課有很多值得我學習借鑑的東西，下面談談我的幾點感受。
教師自身的良好素質是講好課的重要前提和保證。我發現優秀的教師均有一下特點：
1、口語流利、發音準確。只有做到這一點，才能保證孩子對課堂的理解、才能保證孩子學到正確的知識、地道的語言。
2、善於利用多媒體及輔助教學手段。使孩子接觸到的知識更立體、更直觀、更生動。
3、教態親切、表情豐富、在課堂上能輕鬆、活潑瀟灑的進行授課，富有藝術性。
4、有紮實的英語基礎知識作後盾，詞彙豐富，課堂充實。在教學中能優化教學，提高效率，比如：親切的問候和交流，拉近老師與學生的距離，別出心裁的組織教學，喚起學生的注意，豐富多樣的直觀教具，培養學生的興趣，提高學生的交際能力，以聽説為主，多元化的練習，引導學生實踐，真誠實效的輔導，促進每個學生的指導，用輕鬆、愉快、活潑的課堂氣氛調動學生的學習英語的主動性和積極性，引起他們的學習興趣，激起學生的主體參與意識，教師在教學是以自己的態度來激活課堂氣氛，用輕鬆活潑的氣氛影響學生的情緒，因為學生的情緒會直接關係到教學的效果，重視學生的學習積極性，對每個學生取得的成績及點滴進步都予以肯定。
作為一名年輕的老師不僅僅要認真地上好每一堂課，還要在這個“好”字上下功夫，怎能樣才能上好課，怎樣才能上出讓學生喜歡的課？怎樣讓自己的語言更優美，讓自己的學生更喜歡？怎樣才能培養學生的創新意識和實踐能力，要多琢磨，要多學習。
通過這次聽課，我開闊了眼界，看到了自己的不足，讓我深切的體會到了緊迫感，認識到了自己的侷限。同時我對自己也提出了問題去思考，相信通過自己的不斷努力，一定能拉近距離，不斷進步。
反思之餘，真的慶幸，我還年輕。只有激情和對工作的熱情是遠遠不夠的。自己需要學的東西太多太多。首先要提高自身的業務素質，英語一天不看，不聽就會退步，經常提醒學生，卻麻痺了自己。其次，熱情永遠不能跟經驗相抗衡。虛心向別人學習，充實自己。做一個永不自滿的學習者。
為了夢想，快樂的拼搏吧！因為我還年輕。
In our daily life, we have to come into contact with people in every walk of life.therefore, it is very important for us to know how to get along with other people. to get well along with others and win their friendships, we must observe strictly the following words.
To begin with, we need to be honest with others and shouh{ always say what we mean. lies will surely make people stay far away from us in the long run. after all,honesty is the best policy. second, we have to be humble enough. if we are proud in public, we can hardly win others respect, not to mention “friendship”
Finally, we must not be selfish. we should learn how to show concern for others.

I have not thought and have not done or felt enough—the early sun, rain and the seasonal delight of flocks of ducks and geese in flight, the mysteries of late-at-night. I still need time to read a book, write poems, paint a picture, look at scenes and faces dear to me. There is something more to be of value—something I should find within myself—as peace of mind, patience, grace and being kind. I shall take and I shall give, while yet, there is so much to live for—rainbows, stars that gleam, the fields,the hills, the hope, the dream the truth that one must seek.

About ten years ago when I was an undergraduate in college, I was working as an intern at my University’s Museum of Natural History. One day while working at the cash register in the gift shop, I saw an elderly couple come in with a little girl in a wheelchair.
As I looked closer at this girl, I saw that she was kind of perched on her chair. I then realized she had no arms or legs, just a head, neck and torso. She was wearing a little white dress with red polka dots.
As the couple wheeled her up to me I was looking down at the register. I turned my head toward the girl and gave her a wink. As I took the money from her grandparents, I looked back at the girl, who was giving me the cutest, largest smile I have ever seen. All of a sudden her handicap was gone and all I saw was this beautiful girl, whose smile just melted me and almost instantly gave me a completely new sense of what life is all about. She took me from a poor, unhappy college student and brought me into her world; a world of smiles, love and warmth.
That was ten years ago. I’m a successful business person now and whenever I get down and think about the troubles of the world, I think about that little girl and the remarkable lesson about life that she taught me.
