一、英國留學簽證類型
普通(Tier4)學生簽證：
申請人年齡：滿17週歲以上；
此類簽證適用於到英國讀高中及以上的學位課程、大學及研究生預科課程的學生，簽證有效期與CAS上課程的`時長一致，簽證到期後可以在英國直接辦理續簽。
普通(Tier4)兒童學生簽證：
申請人年齡：未滿17週歲
此類簽證適用於到英國讀中學的學生，同Tier4普通學生簽證一樣，此類簽證到期後可以在英國直接辦理續簽手續。
學生訪問(Student Visitor)簽證：
此類簽證主要面向無法申請Tier4學生簽證的學生，如未達到雅思要求而要到英國上語言課程的學生。此類簽證的最長有效期為11個月，到期後即使已獲得英國學位課程的正式錄取也需要回國申請新的簽證，不可以在英國直接辦理續簽手續。另外，持學生訪問簽證的，在英國期間不可以打工，而持Tier4學生簽證在讀本科以上課程的，每週可以打工10-20小時。
二、簽證申請資料
無論申請上述何種類型的簽證，均需要準備以下資料：新舊護照、近期照片、户口本、出生證明(18歲以下學生)、CAS、存款證明和銀行流水、CAS要求的成績單等文件。
準備好辦理簽證的全部材料後，方可預約簽證時間，預約同時需在線支付簽證費和醫療附加費。
之後按預約好的時間攜帶各項材料的原件、複印件、翻譯件，準時前往英國簽證中心，按規定流程辦理簽證。
