一輩子土裏刨食,對他寄着太多希望的老母親為此很着急,從白裏外的農村老家趕來,帶着他到醫院求職。多年的經驗積累,他成功的為某醫院做了一列斷臂接合的手術。有熱心人提醒他們母子倆要及時送禮。禮也送了----一袋鄉產的紅棗和自家釀的酒,只是太輕了,輕的微不足道。院領導説,如果他能做斷肢再植手術,就可以不他調到醫院。
農民母親聽不出弦外之音,更着急不知要等到什麼時候才會有斷肢病人來這個小醫院做接肢手術。即使有,也未必輪上兒子做。如果沒有上手術枱的機會,就意味着兒子還要一直等下去。
為了兒子的前途,生性笨拙的農民母親突發奇想,一急之下剁掉了自己的一個手指,在手術枱上指明要兒子做手術。
手術拆線後,看着還能彎動的手指,農民母親笑了,兒子哭了,醫院的領導無話可説了。

有一天，下着很大的雨，已經過了晚飯時間了，媽媽卻還沒有回來。小女孩站在家門口望啊望，總也等不到媽媽的身影。天，越來越黑，雨，越下越大，小女孩決定順着媽媽每天回來的路自己去找媽媽。她走啊走啊，走了很遠，終於在路邊看見了倒在地上的媽媽。她使勁搖着媽媽的身體，媽媽卻沒有回答她。她以為媽媽太累，睡着了。就把媽媽的頭枕在自己的腿上，想讓媽媽睡得舒服一點。但是這時她發現，媽媽的眼睛沒有閉上!小女孩突然明白：媽媽可能已經死了!她感到恐懼，拉過媽媽的手使勁搖晃，卻發現媽媽的手裏還緊緊地拽着一塊年糕……她拼命地哭着，卻發不出一點聲音……
雨一直在下，小女孩也不知哭了多久。她知道媽媽再也不會醒來，現在就只剩下她自己。媽媽的眼睛為什麼不閉上呢?她是因為不放心她嗎?她突然明白了自己該怎樣做。於是擦乾眼淚，決定用自己的語言來告訴媽媽她一定會好好地活着，讓媽媽放心地走……
小女孩就在雨中一遍一遍用手語做着這首《感恩的心》，淚水和雨水混在一起，從她小小的卻寫滿堅強的臉上滑過……“感恩的心，感謝有你，伴我一生，讓我有勇氣做我自己……感恩的心，感謝命運，花開花落，我一樣會珍惜……”她就這樣站在雨中不停歇地做着，一直到媽媽的眼睛終於閉上……
在這則故事中，我們看到故事中的那家人是多麼的貧窮，但故事中的那位母親卻堅持每天給女兒帶來一塊年糕。雖然對現在的我們來説，這一塊年糕是多麼的微不足道，但對這對母女卻是一道至高無上的美味，而且這麼一塊小小的年糕，就十分可能是那位母親辛苦勞動一整天才換得的啊!而文中的女兒卻也在享受這美味的同時對母親也心存感激。我們再來看，當母親沒回來時，女兒便奮不顧身地衝進大雨裏尋找母親。我想，一般人只會乖乖地在家一直等着母親的歸來。但她卻如此勇敢地出去尋找母親。究竟是什麼樣的動力驅使她這麼做?是的，就是她的那份對母親的感恩!而故事結尾她做的那一遍遍的《感恩的心》的手語更是體現出了女兒對母親那真切的感恩，我相信，她的這份真摯的感情肯定也傳達到了她在天堂的母親，所以母親的眼睛才會安心地閉上......
感謝你的父母。他們是你至真至愛的親人。沒有你的父母就沒有你的今天，所以，你首先要感謝的人是你的父母。是他們給了你生命，是他們哺育了你，是他們給了你最偉大的愛。你講的第一句話是他們教的;你邁出的第一步是他們扶助的;你成功時，為你吶喊歡呼的是他們;你失敗受挫時，安慰你鼓勵你的人是他們;為你付出愛最多的人是他們;為你流過最多汗水的人是他們;為你着急，為你流淚的人還是他們——你的父母。感謝他們吧，感謝他們的愛，感謝他們的付出，這一切都是無法用金錢來衡量的，也是你一生都報答不盡的。感謝你的父母，在歲月途中，靜靜的看護你，為你遮風擋雨，讓你在愛的幸福中學會如何去愛他人，感謝父母日日夜夜愛的奉獻。讓我們大聲的説“爸媽，謝謝您!我們愛您!”

今天，我演講的題目是：感恩，從身邊做起。
站在這裏，首先我要感恩！感謝學校的優秀，感謝老師的厚愛，感謝同學的支持，感謝母親的養育，感謝我自己有勇氣站在這裏，説出我感恩的心聲！
感恩，從身邊做起。父親、母親，是我們身邊最值得感恩的人！
從初生的嬰兒到我們長大成人，有誰知道，其間浸透了父母多少的心血和愛心啊！是誰，一年365天，一日三餐為我們精心準備；是誰，在我們生病時，恨不能以身替代，一夜不眠的照料着我們；
是誰，在我們受傷時，將委屈的我們摟入懷中，用温暖的愛驅散我們心靈的霧霾；是誰，為我們人生路上一點點的進步而喜悦滿懷；
是誰，為我們的快樂和幸福操碎了心；是誰，可以用生命來鋪墊我們成長的路......
太多、太多的含辛茹苦！是父母，是父母把世界上最無私的愛奉獻給了我們，平凡而偉大！
當父母將他們捨不得入口的美食留給我們的時候，我們高興的笑了；
當我們將美味的食物分一口給母親吃的時候，媽媽眼裏卻閃現出了淚花，不停地説：孩子懂事了！
這是怎樣的對比啊！父母給了我們大海，我們認為是理所當然；我們僅僅給了母親一滴水，母親卻感動的要流淚！
讓我們從今天開始，感恩父母，從身邊做起。
在父母勞累了一天後端上一杯暖茶；在爸媽生日之際，別忘了送上一份祝福；
在他們煩惱鬱悶時用心去問候與安慰......
今天，母親節雖然已經過去了，但在這
裏我還是想對我的媽媽大聲説：媽媽，您曾用您堅實的臂彎為我撐起了一方藍天，而今，我也要用我日益豐滿的羽翼來為您遮風擋雨！
感恩，從身邊做起！一日為師，終生為父。老師，也是我們身邊最應該感恩的人！從蒙學初開的幼童到求知若渴的少年，從一個學生到展翅高飛的成人，老師給我們的人生插上了飛翔的雙翅。當我們懷着忐忑不安的心情跨入國中的校門時，是老師陽光般温暖的笑容將我們帶入了豐富多彩的校園；
當我們帶着煩躁的心面對一道道難題時，是老師用愛心，耐心和責任心幫我們解除疑惑，讓我們感受到了學習的樂趣；當我們有了小小過錯的時候，是老師的循循善誘教給了我們做人的道理；
